Hi, I'm Holly, Licensed Massage Therapist and owner of The Current.

My passion for helping people feel better began through my background in personal training, where I saw firsthand how movement, strength, and recovery work together to support overall wellness. As I worked with clients, I became increasingly interested in the ways stress, tension, and everyday life impact how we feel in our bodies.

That curiosity led me to massage therapy, where I discovered a deeper appreciation for the connection between physical health, recovery, nervous system regulation, and overall well-being.

Today, I combine my knowledge of movement and recovery with customized bodywork designed to help clients reduce tension, improve mobility, manage stress, and reconnect with their bodies. Whether you're seeking relief from everyday aches, support during pregnancy, or simply a space to slow down and recharge, my goal is to help you leave feeling better than when you arrived.

A large abstract painting of ocean waves hangs above it. To the right, a tall floor lamp illuminates a beige armchair with a brown pillow and a round wooden side table with decorative bowls, on a beige rug.

Why I Created The Current

The Current was chosen because it reflects the natural flow and connection that exists throughout the body, mind, and spirit.

Our bodies rely on constant movement. Circulation delivers nutrients where they're needed, the lymphatic system supports balance, and the nervous system carries the signals that allow us to move, think, feel, and respond to the world around us. When stress, tension, injury, or the demands of everyday life begin to interrupt that flow, it's easy to feel disconnected, not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.

Massage creates an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and return to the present moment. Like water, we're designed to move, adapt, and restore. As the body begins to release tension, the mind often follows, creating space for greater clarity, balance, and a deeper sense of well-being. Sometimes, all we need is the chance to pause, reset, and reconnect with ourselves before moving forward again.

The Current was created to be a place where therapeutic bodywork and relaxation come together to support your overall well-being, helping you feel more connected, grounded, and restored in body, mind, and spirit.

My Approach

Massage As
Ongoing Care

Massage therapy is more than a way to relax, it's a valuable part of maintaining overall wellness. Regular bodywork can help support mobility, reduce tension, manage stress, and address common discomforts before they become bigger issues.

By making massage part of your routine, you can support how your body feels and functions long-term, not just when something hurts.
